OMG

So this happened...

I think I have finally stopped shaking but, I am still in a little bit of shock. And that is one dark fucking line!

I know we still have many hurdles to get over so I am cautiously optimistic. SH is being very cautious and doesn't want to get excited until we get a good beta number. (He's already looked up what it should be. I love that.) I told him we deserve to be excited about this. Even if the excitement only lasts a few days or a few weeks. I am so glad my beta is tomorrow. This may be the first time I have ever been excited to get blood drawn.

Holy crap! This may actually be happening!

  7. I'm happy for you, but you know what? I'm also RELIEVED. Somebody with a situation as crappy as mine GOT A FREAKING BFP! Is that selfish? I'm afraid that's selfish. Well, it's selfish, and there it is.

By the way - you're right. That's one helluva dark line. Nice.

    2. That's exactly what my husband said. He isn't excited (yet), just relieved.
It feels very odd to be in a position of giving others hope. This is not my normal state of being.

  18. Yay! WooHoo!! I agree with you, whatever happens be excited right now! For as long as you have this, be excited. Hopefully it will last 9 months and you have that take home baby, but if not, don't lose out on what you have right now and tomorrow and the next day.... It is so hard not to be afraid too, but if I learned anything, it's that we should be excited for every moment we do get. You are going to have an AWESOME beta number tomorrow because that is one hell of a dark line!!!!! I am giddy for you.

  20. Well congrats! It's my new job to work with egg donors and it calls for me at times to peruse fetility blogs at times and offer encouragement and sincere congratulations on succesfully doing an end around mother nature. I find it at times a two sided world out there where on one side it's terribly frustrating for those who can't conceive, and on the other side like yours how great it is when you can. Again congrats.
